Factory intake manifolds are often built with a necked-down design that restricts the amount of clean air entering the engine while allowing more exhaust gas from the EGR system to mix into the intake. The PDI Big Boss Intake addresses this by opening up key airflow areas within the manifold, allowing up to 15% more clean air into the engine.

By improving airflow and reducing intake restriction, the Big Boss Intake helps produce cooler intake air temperatures and can deliver an additional 15–20 horsepower. The improved airflow balance also supports better engine efficiency and drivability.

Designed as a direct replacement, the manifold installs in the factory position using the original mounting hardware, making installation straightforward while still providing a noticeable performance upgrade.
